Our Mission

To encourage the regular practice of sustainable living with products and education to aid in healing our planet, and advocate for kindness and justice to all beings, both human and non-human. Sustainability can be easy and stylish!  As an animal advocate we only provide vegan, cruelty free items and 10% of all sales will be donated to our selected rescue. Shipping + Delivery

  • Standard shipping is free with all orders over $50 (US only).
  • Original brand apparel items are made print to order to avoid wasted materials. These orders will ship within 1-2 weeks from the order date.  Please contact us if you need an item sooner.
  • Orders are shipped using eco-friendly materials.  This includes pre-loved boxes and paper, packing peanuts made from corn or potato starch that can dissolve in water, and tape and thermal labels that can go in your curbside recycling.

Return Policy

We stand behind our products and want you to be 100% satisfied!  We always do our best to take care of our customers - dealing with all situations fairly and responsibly.  If you received a damaged or defective item, please email us at hello@shopkindroots.com, text/call us at 515-257-6779, or message us on Facebook or Instagram and we will rectify this right away.

Ensuring correct addresses is the responsibility of the customer.  There are no refunds made for orders not received due to an incorrect address entered at purchase.  Please be sure your full correct address is entered before purchasing.

Friendship Collars: Return shipping is free only if the collar does not fit your dog.  Collars can fit each dog differently, and we want your pet to have the size that is safest for them.  Contact us to initiate an exchange or return.

All returns must be done within 30 days of the purchase date. There will be no exceptions.

Mail returns to us with your order number and date. Be sure to provide a phone number or the best email address to contact you if we have questions. 

++ We do not accept returns on items that have been washed, worn, are covered in animal hair, or that have overwhelming smells (perfumes, oils, etc.).  All returned items must be in original, unworn and unwashed condition. ++

The customer is responsible for all shipping fees to Kind Roots (unless the item is defective or we made an error in your shipment).  This applies to all first exchanges.  Shipping for any additional exchanges on the order are the customer's responsibility. 

All returns that meet this criteria will receive a full refund.  We do not refund shipping costs for returned items, unless the item is defective or our error.
